Do I teach English or do I teach grammar? Is there a difference?!?

Is learning grammatical terminology effective for students? Does the average EFL learner need to know vast amounts of grammar to communicate in English effectively?
This talk aims at discussing these and other relevant aspects behind the teaching of grammar for EFL students and has been especially designed for the students at Unibero.

Higor Cavalcante

Higor has been in ELT for over eight years, having worked for various institutions in Brazil as a teacher, teacher trainer, teaching consultant and pedagogical coordinator. He has ministered training courses for teachers in over ten states all over the country. He studied Languages at Universidade de São Paulo, holds CPE (A), Trinity (level 12) and Cambridge’s CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching for Adults). He is currently the Director of Studies and teacher trainer at St. Giles International in Brazil.
